Attention Authors! We seek proposals for books and online products. The primary areas of interest are operating systems, computer programming, software applications, and the Internet and the World Wide Web. The intended market for your project should be either professionals in these fields or undergraduate students majoring in one of these disciplines. Your submission should include the following: a prospectus, a topical outline, a sample of the proposed work, and a personal resume. The prospectus should identify the market the project is intended for, explain why it is unique, identify any existing competitors, cover any special features, provide a brief description of the end result, and offer an estimate of the schedule for completing it. The topical outline should explain the coverage and organization. If your publication will be a book, provide chapter titles and any important subtopics covered in the chapters. Sample material should be two to three chapters for books, or a runtime demo for online products. Submissions should be addressed: Jim Leisy, Publisher |
