Overview
This book is designed to make manuevering through the Internet
easy and effective. Ernest Ackermann and Karen Hartman have created
a book that teaches how to search for and evaluate information
found on the Web. The book combines Ackermann's proven style
seen in his Learning to Use the World Wide Web series
with Hartman's research experience as a librarian. Together they
cover the basics of the World Wide Web and offer useful strategies
for research, tying everything together with two projects in
the last chapter. The book uses Netscape 4.0, but stresses the
basics to be compatible with any browser. |
